Scope and Contents of the Materials
Construction started on Alliot Nov. 16, 1959. The College dedicated the building in 1960. The college named the building for the Very Rev. Eugene Alliot, SSE, former SMC president, and founder of the college. It is the student center and includes the main dining area on campus. In 1977, the College added the college bookstore to the footprint. The original architects were Freeman Frecnch and Freeman. The series consists of materials related to both the original building and subsequent renovations. Financial information, blueprints, and other design information are represented.
