Scope and Contents of the Materials

The Blue Ribbon Benefits Committee was appointed by Provost Janet Sheeran, who also served as Chair of the committee. This committee was formed in response to the abrupt rise in healthcare costs. This committee was an ad hoc committee comprised of twenty faculty and staff members of various employment levels throughout the college. It studied the health care issues and made recommendations to the administration. The Administration did not implement any of the Committee’s recommendations. The series includes reports, drafts and meeting minutes from the committee.
