Administrative/Biographical History
From 1970-1980 the college engaged in an innovative program aimed at increasing the college success for marginal candidates. Applicants who were judged to have potential despite poor grades or test scores were accepted into the delayed admissions program. This conditional acceptance required them to attend a summer program. If they were judged successful after partaking in this and some other programs, they were fully matriculated into the freshmen class.
