Scope and Contents of the Materials
One of the benefits offered Saint Michael's College employees is a retirement plan. For many years, this retirement or pension plan acted under the advisement of an advisory committee made up of members of the SMC community. The committee began in 1976 at the request of President Ed Henry as a temporary committee. It felt that a permanent committee, representative of all pension members, would provide stability and greater expertise on matters related to the pension.
