Administrative/Biographical History
The Edmundite Development Commission was organized in 1966 to study and establish a formal development program for the whole of the Society of Saint Edmund. The committee organized a conference, studied the possible role of a Development Coordinator, and studied how various facets of the society could work with such a director. Their findings included establishing the need for a better public relations. The work of the commission resulted in a formal Edmundite Devlopment Program and the appointment of a Development Coordinator. The Commission ceased once the coordinator was appointed.
