When the Society acquired land in Putney, Vermont in 1931 it was initially for formation. The Society’s first Theologate was in Putney. In 1939, the Theologate transferred to Randolph, and the Novitiate program moved to Putney from Swanton. Most of the records from both the novitiate and the theologate are in the Ledgers series.
