Records Relating to Development committee (2000... | Saint Michael's College Archives & Special Collections

The Development Committee was established as an ad hoc committee to create a long range fund raising strategy for the society and to advise facilitate, consult and help coordinate Edmundite appeals at all its apostolates.  Membership was made up of a mix of members of the Society, Lay employees and laypersons.  One of the first actions of the committee was to recommend the hiring of a new Development Director who would work with all the apostolates of the society.  Most of the work of the committee revolved around hiring that position.  Although this position was never realized, the discussion of centralizing the Society’s  development needs was very valuable.  The development committee ceased meeting in 2002. The series consists of minutes, reports and correspondence related to both the committee and the development Director position.
