Administrative/Biographical History
The Board of Hearing formed as a result of a resolution at the 1970 General Chapter. It was in existence from 1970-1980 and provided a means for mediation and arbitration of conflict involving the exercise of administrative authority in the SSE. It was set up as a safeguard against the possible misuse of authority. There were 5 members of the committee, 2 appointed and three, a priest, a scholastic and a brother, elected. It does not appear to have been particularly active during the ten years of its existence.
